With a long time affinity and interest for health and wellness through natural healing arts. I began finding ways to take care of my own body, mind and spirit through seeking a more holistic approach. Including yoga, meditation, mindfulness, martial arts, journaling, acupuncture, essential oils, nutrition and more.

At this time a deeper connection with myself began to evolve, and I began to learn more about healing elements from a holistic perspective. Through these discoveries it became clear that it embodied more than just my own healing and wellness journey. Inspiration grew to deepen my understanding through continued exploration, formal training and studies in holistic health to be able to help others and bring Sumu Wellness to light.

Sumu Wellness was created with the intention of sharing wellness with others. Through creating a safe space that promotes healing, on all levels. Mind, body and spirit. I am truly grateful to be a guide and able to share these gifts of wellness with others. I feel so much gratitude to be on this journey. Casandra is Certified as a 2nd Degree Usui Tibetan Reiki Practitioner, E-RYT 200 Yoga Teacher and has been awarded certifications in: Holistic Health, Holistic Nutrition, and Meditation Teacher Training.

She continues to deepen her understanding and experience through continued practice, training and studies, but especially through connecting with clients in their journey. Teaching Yoga and Meditation workshops online, as well as Classes at Northside Aztlan Community Center, EXOS at Intel and with Shine LLC.

Casandra truly believes that good health and wellness are paramount for good quality life and approaches each client with a genuine, caring open heart & mind, encouraging them to be where they are in their own journey of wellness. In her free time she enjoys sharing time with her Love, their kids & husky pup Wasabi.
